From servers to the trades
ROOT4U started in 2018 as an IT company — servers, networks, security, software, websites and e-shops. In 2020 we added photovoltaics, later Loxone smart homes, and with a circle of external partners we now also deliver electrical, plumbing and masonry work. In Lomnice nad Popelkou we run a store with electrical and plumbing supplies and a tool rental; we are also building our company base there, with a showroom (Loxone, Atmos, Victron, Stiebel Eltron) and our own server room for operations, monitoring and customer backups.
Why MEFYS exists
A company spanning this many fields needs to invoice, track stock, rent out tools and keep an eye on the money. For years we juggled several tools and spreadsheets — no system grew with us. So we built our own.
First for ourselves: today MEFYS holds over 960 of our documents, including two years of migrated accounting history, our store's stock and the company's day-to-day operations. Then we opened it up to others. That's also why the roadmap includes a POS and a rental module — we're building them for our own store, not at a desk.
How we work
Us first, then you
Every feature runs live on our own company before it reaches you. What doesn't work for us never gets to you.
No lock-in
Take your data with you anytime (ISDOC, PDF, CSV/XLSX). And in our comparisons we also say where the competition is better.
Support straight from the builders
You don't talk to a call centre — the people who build MEFYS answer you. Within one business day.
Full legal identity
Company ID, commercial register entry and a brick-and-mortar store. Your data stays in the EU.
Development is led by the founder
MEFYS development is led by Jakub Jiřička, founder of ROOT4U. The roadmap is set not by investors but by the company's daily operations and customer needs — features are built around what a real business actually requires. See What's coming.
